Ramadan is often filled with people performing good deeds and sharing their blessings. One Malaysian woman decided to utilise the holy month to share her food with anyone and everyone who walked past her house in Kemaman, Terengganu.
The woman’s daughter, known by the username pokokkakpen, took to her Threads account to showcase her mother’s random act of kindness.

A spirit of giving
The post reads, “What is a random thing your mother does during the month of Ramadan? My mother cooks a vast amount of food before carrying it to the front of our house.”
“She then calls out to whoever passes by and invites them to break their fast together. It doesn’t matter who it is or whether she knows them or not,” pokokkakpen added.
The daughter further revealed that her mother was already planning to cook Nasi Dagang and Nasi Lemak the following day to celebrate her father’s return.
pokokkakpen also clarified in the comments that her mother is not alone; while she and her older brother live nearby, a younger sibling still lives at home.
A heartwarming scene
The woman’s actions of inviting everyone to share a meal while breaking fast left many touched.

“So amazing! Even those who have lost their mothers would feel happy seeing this.”

“May your mum have a long life and be rewarded with good health all her life.”

“Your mother is so cute! I bet she lives a peaceful life.”

“Your mum is next level!”
