In the midst of exam season, many Malaysian secondary school students will undeniably have a stressful time trying to juggle the responsibilities in their personal lives while attempting to achieve academic greatness. Therefore, it’s sometimes more than just a kind gesture to have a pure stranger extend a hand of warmth when they need it the most.
One Malaysian STPM 2023 candidate named Eva Anastasia recently shared a clip to her TikTok account @4nstsi4 of an interaction she had with a kind Grab driver, who was dropping her off at an examination centre to sit for one of her papers.
Expressing hesitance for the upcoming paper after reaching her school, the Grab driver decided to pray with Eva for a brief moment before she exited the ride.
“Help her pass, take all her worries away, so she isn’t stressed, and make everything okay,” said the unnamed Grab driver in his car while lifting his hands in the air.
After concluding the prayer, Eva proceeded thank the uncle before he turned around to get a proper look at her. At the end of the video, the uncle said that he couldn’t wait to tell his wife about this instance once he got home.
“God bless you. Don’t worry, everything is fine now,” uttered the uncle just before Eva exited his car and went to sit for her exam.
Practically bringing the entire comments section to tears, multiple Malaysians praised the uncle for his concern and thoughtfulness towards a random stranger. In a light-hearted manner, one user said that she wouldn’t hesitate to give him a five-star rating for that alone.
“The way I would cry my eyeballs out if this happened to me!” wrote another user.
In a surprising twist, multiple commenters also spoke about having come across this Grab driver before, adding that he is indeed a very genuine and sincere person, despite only speaking to him briefly during the travelling time.
“Oh my gosh! My husband and I have ridden in a Grab with this uncle before! He is so nice!” penned another user.
