The state elections were over, with a tie between Pakatan Harapan, who won Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan & Perikatan Nasional, who managed to secure Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah.
The Menteri Besar of Kedah, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor recently said that PN has achieved an outstanding result in the recent state elections. To prove that the “PN wave” is coming, Sanusi gave an example of what happened in Penang, which is widely known as PH’s fortress.
“PN won 11 seats in Penang, and this proves that the wave is coming.”
Sanusi recently attended a talk in Johor, where he expressed his enthusiasm in seeing the PN wave making an entrance in Johor in the near future, which will eventually lead to the victory of the party in the state.
He then joked about PN winning our neighbouring country.
“If Singapore has an election, PN will win the place too!”
In the meantime, Sanusi dubbed PH’s achievement in the recent state elections an embarrassment, and said that there is currently no PN wave in Johor because the state election there was conducted earlier, reported Sin Chew.
Wearing shorts, yay or nay?
On the other hand, Sanusi also mentioned about wearing shorts for the non-Muslims if PN takes over the state in the future. To him, the issue is nothing but merely a game that other political parties “hype up” to paint PN in a bad light.
Sanusi assured that PN has never interfered with the lifestyles of the non-Muslims.
“They can wear shorts if they want but it has to be appropriate too.”
Putting Singapore aside, do you think it’s possible for PN to secure the majority of seats in Johor in the future? Is there really a PN wave emerging in the state?
