Keanu Reeves might be the humblest, nicest person in Hollywood, but try to take advantage of him and you might find yourself in hot water.

The Star’s lifestyle pullout, Star2, recently published an interview with Keanu supposedly conducted by their US correspondent Philip Berk, which caught major attention considering it showcased the notoriously private Keanu opening up about his love life.

But representatives from Keanu’s team denied the interview ever happened, with his publicist reaching out to Huffpost to confirm that the star never spoke to The Star.

The spokeswoman told Huffpost, “This interview did not happen.”

“This was pieced together from several interviews and the majority of these questions were not asked nor answered. They are fabricated.”

Star2 have since released a statement regarding Philip Berk’s background in the journalism industry and stated that the interview was not fabricated, but was instead a compilation of various interviews from the past.

Fabricated or not, it certainly didn’t stop the Twitter-sphere from erupting.

Don’t we all wish, Ella, don’t we all wish.
