On July 10, the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) confirmed the existence of the Titah Adendum, believed to be a decree from the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, which allows former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest.
Najib has been serving his sentence at Kajang Prison since 23 August 2022, after being found guilty of misappropriating RM42 million from SRC International Sdn Bhd. He filed for a royal pardon shortly after, on September 2.
