As per the Ministry of Health’s (KKM) latest updates, Malaysia not only recorded an all-time high number of cases, we also recorded an all-time high of death counts at 59 deaths today (20 May).
This brings up the total death count to 2,099 deaths while there were 3,916 recovery cases today.

There are 587 patients currently being treated in the ICU with 330 of them requiring the breathing apparatus.
