As many of us are law-abiding citizens who are doing our part by #dudukdiamdiam at home, gaining a few pandemic pounds can’t be helped. Especially since food delivery apps make it so easy to order your favourite Malaysian dishes. If you can’t let go of that plate of nasi lemak but want to lose weight, try exercising with it instead!
Sweatco. recently announced the launch of these unique mouth-watering jump ropes named after all things quintessentially Malaysian: nasi lemak, teh tarik, milo truck and musang king durian.
This female-led brand founded by two Malaysians, Janine & Wen Li, created the Malaysian jump rope collection as a way to bring Malaysians together, to give Malaysians a push to stay active and to remind us of truly Malaysian things that can bind us all together again.
The founders told WORLD OF BUZZ, “There is a huge movement and traction in the jump rope community worldwide right now. Scrolling through social media, it’s not rare to see someone starting to pick up jumping rope or someone whipping out really cool jumps.”
“It may seem intimidating to start with at first but when you start with a basic bounce everyone slowly finds that it is more than manageable and they’re immediately hooked! There are so many ways to jump and so many styles you can adopt. Best yet, it keeps you moving and healthy!”
The founders added that the pandemic has forced a lot of people around the world to pick up different skills and the jump rope is the most hassle-free equipment to get and start on.
Sweatco. will be having an exclusive pre-order sale on their sweatrope collection starting today, 31 May till 6 June 2021 in conjunction with their launch as well as their #JomLompat movement.
Make sure you tune in for more updates on their new collection and movement on their Instagram page!
