The super typhoon Hagibis hit Japan on 12th October, leaving destruction in its wake. As of now, the typhoon has moved away from Japan and has gone further up North. Despite the destruction and death it has caused, some netizens have tried to focus on more positive things, such as the clean floodwaters in Japan.
I mean, look at this and tell me it’s not clean???
Now let’s compare it to when we had floods too.
THE DIFFERENCE!
Ok now, let’s start by stating the obvious- the colour of the water. It is a given that the colour of the water will be murkier on our side as we have lots of loose soil everywhere, even in the cities and Japanese streets are basically all paved.
The second difference is the absence of garbage in the Japanese floodwaters as they really do not litter.
In addition to the pictures, there were also videos of people walking in the floodwaters and you can kind of see the ground that they are walking on- yes, it’s that clear!
Netizens have also commented on how they are very amazed by this!
Someone even said that Malaysia probably needs 60 thousand years to learn to be cleaner.
We hope that the deceased from typhoon Hagibis rest in peace and the missing people will be found eventually. It is indeed a very hard time for Japan, but they have been battered by nature so many times, we have no doubt that they’ll be able to rise again. #PrayForJapan
