Due to Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya being in a Conditional Movement Control Order, interstate and inter-district travels are banned unless for emergency purposes. Even then, you need to present a valid letter of reason.

While most areas have commissioned roadblocks with PDRM and ATM officers to guard it, the government has taken extra precaution by closing this road. According to Info Roadblock JPJ/Polis, Jalan Gombak Lama heading towards Genting Sempah nearby Simpang Kuala has now been closed again.

The road has been sealed off completely using concrete barriers. This road closure is to prevent any unnecessary or “backdoor” interstate travelling.
