Taking to Threads, netizen @frznaisml warned visitors to a shopping mall to be wary of a man known for stalking people in the parking lot in an attempt to solicit RM100.
She stated that the man actively goes around knocking on car windows and approaching individuals, asking for RM100.

She shared, “My husband and I were first approached by him months ago at the same O** C*** parking lot. His excuse was that he needed money to return to Johor. We said no and left.”
“Yesterday, I saw him knocking on the window of the car next to mine. The lady rejected him. Right after that, he went looking for his next target and was again rejected by two other women.”

After he was turned down by another family, she went to the Customer Service counter on Level 3.
“They were pretty unfazed and said it’s a recurring issue that has been reported before. That threw me off a bit, but the staff did acknowledge the situation and said they would report it again.”
She shared that this has been happening for some time and that it appears to be a two-man operation.
“I told them they should at least send security to patrol the area and hopefully chase them out… but my suggestion was brushed off,” she added.
Concerned that the situation could escalate if left unchecked, netizens commenting on the Thread expressed disappointment with how the matter was handled.
“The shopping mall used to have canine patrols. Now they’ve scaled down operations.”
“It’s irresponsible for the mall not to take action. Not sure if this has been swept under the carpet without reaching management or security, since it’s happened too many times,” said a user.

One netizen shared her own frightening experience with the man.
“He is dangerous. When he knocked on my window the last time I was there, I ignored him and just gestured ‘no’ without opening my car door or windows.”
She added, “He got upset and started hitting my windows and car hood hard. He walked away angrily and kept pointing at me to his friend.”
“I cancelled my plans and drove elsewhere to find a guard. The guard accompanied me to pay my parking ticket.”
