Earlier, 2 boys in Johor were suspected of peeping on a 26-year-old woman in a fitting room. Now, a woman who claims to know the boys is speaking out on the matter.
Commenting on the original Facebook post shared by the 26-year-old woman, the woman explained that the boys were not trying to peek.
The woman said that the boys were merely imitating the act of the couple in the next fitting room, and did not realise that the fitting room they were about to enter was occupied.

The woman, who was also at the clothing store with her daughter, said that the two boys had apologised and explained the matter to her. However, she is not happy that the victim is circulating the CCTV footage with the faces of the boys exposed.
“If you felt harassed, you could’ve spoken about it on the spot. Are you trying to boost engagement for yourself?”
“They are merely underage kids who are still studying, and this matter has affected their daily lives.”
“She was clothed, not half naked”

The woman also claimed that, unlike what many social media users speculated, the victim had her clothes on, and she was not just “in her bra and underwear.” The woman also clarified that she was not trying to evade responsibilities or defend the boys, but based on the footage, the boys did not do so on purpose.
She then highlighted again that if the victim did not feel a mere apology was enough, she should have confronted them about it.
“Regardless, I would still like to apologise for what they did. However, the woman should take responsibility too.”
“You exposed the boys’ faces without stating facts and affected their lives. Remove the video, or I will exercise my right to take legal action against you and the clothing store,” the woman commented.
At the time of writing, PDRM in Johor has still not released a statement and is still locating the suspects.
