Regardless of how poor you can be, stealing should never be an option under any circumstances.

The recent inflation has led to the hike of prices in goods and many of us are struggling to make ends meet, and here comes the question of needs vs wants. Recently, a computer shop in Plaza Low Yat took to its Facebook account and shared a short clip of a ‘potential customer’ who decided to steal some accessories from its place.

The computer shop, known as Sri Computers Sdn Bhd, urged Malaysians to share the video, presumably in the hopes of it reaching the thief’s attention.

At the beginning of the video, when the man noticed that the ‘coast was clear’, he immediately placed a few items into his bag.  The people near him who were browsing through phone accessories did not notice his actions at all.

On another Facebook post on the same day, Sri Computer Sdn Bhd revealed that the man ‘mistakenly’ took 3 items and put them inside his bag.

‘The Sony & Gucci Man’

He had apparently ‘forgotten’ about the payment and since then, he had been dubbed ‘The Sony & Gucci Man‘ as he was seen wearing Gucci sneakers and having a Sony XB-01 speaker hanging on his bag.

The video was posted on July 9 and since then, there have been no updates from Sri Computer Sdn Bhd about the matter. If you have any information about the Sony & Gucci man, do reach out to the shop!

Under any circumstances, we do not endorse stealing or taking away what belongs to others without their consent.
