Letting go of someone we love and important in our lives is probably the most difficult thing ever.
That’s what happened in a video that recently went viral. In the video, a bride could be seen suddenly crying and screaming after her ex-boyfriend gave her a happy congratulatory message.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Saturday (December 12) in Labuan Lombok Village in East Lombok, Indonesia.
The man known as Adrian Hidayat was present at the wedding of his ex-girlfriend, Aollina Alfia Lestari and as he went to congratulate the bride and groom, the bride suddenly started crying and sobbing.
It could also be seen and heard that when Adrian went up to the dais, the guests started cheering after realising that the man wearing the black shirt was the bride’s ex-boyfriend.
The video shows Adrian also hugging the groom as the bride screamed and sobbed uncontrollably.
After the bride’s family realised what was going on, they immediately brought Adrian down from the dais and tried to calm the bride down but it appeared that she still continued crying until she passed out on the dais.
On another viral video, Adrian Hidayat said that he did not attend the ceremony uninvited. In fact, he was invited by the bride and groom.
“So I did not come out of nowhere because I also have pride.”
“God also gave me the same opportunity to attend the ceremony, and I also appreciated the invitation that had been given,” he said.
Adrian also said that his presence was not intended to create problems, but he went there with good intentions, which is always to have a good relationship with all of them.
Besides, he said that he would like to apologize if there was a misunderstanding due to the video that went viral.
“I want to apologize for the content on YouTube or any social media. I do not know any of that, and I am just a victim,” he said.
According to multiple sources, it was reported that Adrian is in fact the bride’s ex-boyfriend. But some Twitter netizens claim that he was her ex-husband.
In an interview with Kompas, the groom, Dedi confirmed that he has already forgiven his wife’s crying and hysterical behaviour while meeting her ex-boyfriend at their wedding.
He even considers his wife’s condition at that time to be unconscious and erratic.
“There is no problem now, my wife is fine, her family is fine, I understand because she was not aware of the situation,” said Dedi.
Meanwhile, the bride, Aolinna told Kompas that she had apologised to her husband and his family because she truly was not aware of the situation at that time.
