Aliff Syukri knows his worth. He made it clear that he wouldn’t sing at events for less than RM15,000.
Any invitation that offers less than that amount would not be entertained, and RM15,000 is his minimum rate.
“I will not accept any invitation that won’t pay me the amount I deserve. I’m not being arrogant, but I’m merely preserving my reputation as a singer with quality,” Aliff said.
In a report by Utusan, the Malaysian businessman said that he recently rejected an invitation to perform at a concert because “his voice is too good for the amount that was offered.”
“I have dressed up, and if I’m only getting RM2,000 to RM3,000, it’s not worth it. I might as well do a live session on social media.”
In case you are not aware, this is not Aliff’s 1st rodeo in the singing industry. Over the past couple of years, Aliff had the opportunity to release multiple Raya songs, and despite major criticisms, he labelled himself as the country’s number 1 singer.
During the Hi-Tea Event With Anthon’s Leather at One World Hotel recently, Aliff had a message to his haters.
“Seriously, do you think I can’t sing? I didn’t reject the invitation to perform at the concert because I was arrogant but because I deserved higher pay, not to mention the concert was all the way in Penang. I’m not a funfair singer.”
To those who have heard of Aliff’s singing, do you think he deserved a higher pay?
