Every Malaysian would know by now that fasting, either for religious, health, or personal reasons, requires discipline and commitment.
But, as years go by, many, especially those expected to fast, find cheeky ways to skip it, citing several reasons deemed unacceptable.

Here are some stories those in the F&B industry shared on how some men cheat in the fasting month.
“Ever since working as a cashier, I noticed that a number of men do not observe fasting,” they wrote.
“If you have a Chinese- or Indian-looking face, I find it somewhat not that obvious, but those with a Malay-looking face should stop the acting.”
In the thread, another F&B operator shared, “I once worked at a Ramadan bazaar. I noticed a number of people do not fast. I only manned the stall for three days because I saw sellers drinking from under the table while we covered their shift.”

But not everyone is like that!
One netizen shared, “My father was a quarry manager, with hard labour carried out on a daily basis. He would tell me that it was not an uncommon sight to see people not fasting, especially during blasting activities.”
“My father was not one of them, and I thank God every day that he is strong enough to deflect these urges.”
Look, we know that for some people, fasting may be hard, but it is just for only a month, right?
