“I registered with Allah” – Pak Cik Tells MBSA Officers During Raid of His Unlicensed Roadside Stall

Following numerous complaints from residents, the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) carried out a raid against unlicensed food vendors in Taman Subang Perdana in Section U3. 

When confronted about the registration for the license, one of the uncles casually told the MBSA officers that he had “registered with Allah.”

His answer left the officers speechless, and one of them simply chuckled.

In MBSA’s Instagram post @sacitycouncil, MBSA said they received complaints from the residents who spoke against the illegal building of stalls in the area, including the emergence of unlicensed vendors in the area, who had no business permits from MBSA.

The raid included around 150 personnel from multiple agencies, including PDRM officers. The stalls and multiple items were all confiscated or demolished, and some personnel from the Department of Public Cleansing and Waste Sustainability had to clean the area after the place, as pests were found lingering in the area, affecting the hygiene of the place.

The illegal building of the stalls also affected the traffic in the area, according to MBSA. According to the authorities, notices had been issued to the illegal vendors years back, but to no avail.

“We have issued notices to the vendors in 2022, and then in 2024 again.”

“We would like to remind everyone to follow the rules if you want to run a business. There are places where we allow, and there are places where we don’t.”

The raid was carried out in May this year, but the video is currently circulating on social media.
