Popular Hong Kong actor Wong Hei recently shared a harrowing experience, revealing that he was sexually assaulted twice by friends while in Taiwan.
In the first YouTube video, Wong said the initial assault occurred on July 15, 2024. He recalled trying to wake up in the morning but feeling as though “someone was pressing on him.” He couldn’t remember anything afterward. When he eventually regained consciousness, he found himself on the floor and had no idea how long he had been unconscious.
“I remember feeling immense pain in certain parts of my body,” he said.
The friend involved, who was wearing only underwear, was in the living room and acted as if nothing had happened. He insisted that Wong leave immediately and took him to the train station. Wong managed to take photos of the bruises on his body as evidence but has not reported the incident to local authorities, citing a lack of trust.
He sustained bruises on his arms, torso, and legs.

The second assault started with a red bean soup
In another YouTube video, Wong revealed that he was assaulted again—this time by two different friends. He recalled that after drinking red bean soup at a friend’s house, his memory went blank, describing it as a “total blackout.”
“I remember hearing them tell me not to move before I passed out completely.”
The next morning, Wong found himself in bed, undressed. He also noticed something unusual in his feces, which he described as “something white.”
Both friends were in the living room and pretended nothing had happened, casually asking if he was okay.
“I made an excuse to leave the scene,” he said.

Wong later underwent an X-ray and MRI and was prescribed painkillers. Two days later, still feeling unwell, he returned to the hospital and was admitted. That same month, he was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis, a serious condition that causes muscle breakdown and can lead to kidney failure.
He also reported finding blood on his body after the second incident. Wong said he chose to speak out publicly to raise awareness about sexual assault against men. You can watch both videos here, and here.
Wong is best known for his roles in Hong Kong dramas such as the Burning Flame series, which concluded in 2009. His last TVB series was Twilight Investigation in 2010.
