While it is highly discouraged to double-park, those who absolutely need to are urged to leave their phone numbers behind in case the person they’re blocking needs to leave.
One Malaysian couldn’t help but not feel angry after they discovered that a woman had double-parked and blocked them in but left her phone number displayed ON HER PHONE.
Netizen, X心一笑, took to their Xiao Hong Shu account to recall the incident.
They wrote, “The good news is that the owner (of the double-parked car) left her phone number.”
“I had been double-parked in when I was heading home after dinner. I quickly checked if the person had left their phone number. I typed in the number and called it, the phone inside the (double-parked) car started vibrating and ringing. The caller ID was my number. So, I quietly walked back to my car and started honking.”
In their post, X心一笑 showcased how the owner of the double-parked car had left her phone number written in the notes application of her phone, and left it on the dashboard.
When the owner finally arrived, X心一笑 didn’t feel angry but laughed at the situation.
“Although (her phone) might have been connected to her Apple Watch, it is still very bold of her to leave her phone on the dashboard of her car like that,” they added.
Would you leave your phone on display on your car’s dashboard like that? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
