Just last night (October 8), Auntie Anne’s Malaysia announced that the viral worker who was found kissing bread dough had been terminated, and the outlet in Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur was closed for disinfection.
In a viral Xiao Hong Shu and Instagram post, the ex-employee, Alice (who is the younger sister of the infamous Adeline Chang) said that she was NOT fired. Instead, she claimed that was merely transferred to another outlet in One Utama.
“Please stop with the cyber-bully. Can you guys give me another chance? Come support me at the outlet in One Utama.”
Alice also showed her punch card, on which the time ins and outs were handwritten, as “proof” that she was still an employee for the organisation.
In her Instagram story this morning (October 9), Alice also claimed that she was slapped by her colleague last night. However, she did not state the reason for the alleged physical attack.
“My face is still painful thanks to the slap. Can I sue her?”
Alice also did not apologise for her “chef’s kiss” on the bread dough and said that Auntie Anne’s should’ve thanked her for helping them with social media engagement.
“They hired me to boost their engagement.”
Is Alice still with Auntie Anne’s?
Alice’s posts claiming that she was merely transferred to another outlet have circulated online, causing mass concern. Fortunately, Auntie Anne’s Malaysia was quick to respond in the comment section and assured Malaysians that she is no longer a part of the team.
“Alice has been terminated, and will not work in any of our outlets. Her statement reflects her personal stand and has nothing to do with us.”
What do you think of Alice’s remarks?
