Here is a List of the Changes to PM Anwar Unity Govt Cabinet!

About a year after the Unity Government came into power, Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) made the decision to conduct and announce a cabinet reshuffle at 11am today (12 December).

He took to his official Facebook page to share the press conference of the announcement.

Cabinet 1

Here is the list of the announced changes: 

Finance Minister II: Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan
Deputy Minister of Finance: Lim Hui Ying (formerly Deputy Education Minister, replacing Steven Sim)

Health Minister: Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad (replacing Dr Zaliha Mustafa)

Minister of Human Resources: Steven Sim (replacing V. Sivakumar)

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories): Dr Zaliha Mustafa

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs): Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof (replacing Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali)

Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living: Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (replacing the late Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub who passed away in July 2023)

Foreign Minister: Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan (formerly Minister of Defence, replacing Zambry Abd Kadir)
Deputy Foreign Minister: Datuk Mohamad Alamin

Minister of Higher Education: Zambry Abd Kadir (replacing Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin)

Minister of Defence: Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin (replacing Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan)

Minister of Plantation and Commodities: Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani (replacing Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof)

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security: Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup (formerly Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation)

Deputy Minister of Public Works: Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan (formerly Deputy Finance Minister)

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform): M Kulasegaran (replacing Ramkarpal Singh)

Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs: Dr Zulkifli Hasan

Ministry of Energy Transition and Public Utilities

Minister of Energy Transition and Public Utilities: Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof (who is also in charge of Sabah and Sarawak affairs.)
