Failing to understand the gravity of how bad COVID-19 is may just be the reason why some Malaysians are still stubborn to follow rules in place during Movement Control Order, which now enters its fifth day.
As images and stories of people going through quarantine make its way on social media, here is another sample of how bad things currently are. Images of COVID-19 related burials are shared by netizens.
Shared by Facebook page The Johor, here are several blurry images of a COVID-19 victim burial taking place at the Bakar Batu Cemetary in Johor Bharu.
In the Facebook post, The Johor writes that the hospital in charge of the burial adhered to a strict standard operating procedure put in place by the Ministry of Health.
To make matters unpleasant for the grieving family, it is understood that they were instructed to keep their distance to avoid the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.
The post which has witnessed more than 13k shares and 17k responses should be seen as a reality check for those out there who still think that they may not be a victim of COVID-19 infection.
