Looking for something to do this weekend and in the mood for music?

Do not worry; we have the perfect solution for you!

Tomorrow, July 9, 2022, the indie record label Breaking Music will host the third “undercurrent” instalment in REX KL.

The show will feature accomplished acts Midnight Fusic, Kyoto Protocol, RESORT, and The Peachskins. The night will be jam-packed with various sounds, styles and performances from each act that will definitely emanate a different experience for each attendee.

Undercurrent Poster

Undercurrent, which began in 2019 as a performance highlighting their in-house talent, evolved into a project to highlight and discover incredible independent artists and bands throughout Kuala Lumpur through a series of live concerts.

With concerts coming to a halt during the pandemic, 2022 is when restrictions have started to loosen. “undercurrent” serves as a vehicle for Breaking Music to showcase the crafts of different artists and celebrate the revival of live concerts and the urban entertainment industry!

The concert will also open doors for creatives with similar interests to connect and eventually rebuild and grow the community in the creative industry.

Watch out for some intriguing merchandise from the featured artists as well!

Undercurrent tickets can be bought at cutt.ly/undercurrent and will be priced at RM55.
