From cleaning the toilet to handling troublesome passengers, flight attendants are among the hardest workers in the aviation industry. Sometimes, they do like to joke around to manage the stress that they have to face daily.
Recently, a Southwest Airlines cabin crew decided to give her passengers a pre-flight laugh by climbing into the overhead bin space and hiding there. Her antics were recorded by a passenger who shared the video on her Twitter account.
When asked by CNN, Veronica said,
“She was up there for about five minutes. More than half the flight was boarded before she got down. It was pretty hilarious. She was greeting passengers as they walked by.”
The airline has also responded to the viral video, explaining that their cabin crews are known for sharing their sense of humour and funny personalities. The airline elaborated,
“Of course, this is not our normal procedure, and Southwest crews always maintain safety as top priority.”

What do you think of her attempt at entertaining the passengers? Did she go too far or did you find it funny? The biggest question here is, if the overhead baggage bin can carry a full-sized human adult, why do we still have weight restrictions for onboard luggage?
