Considering that many have already completed their second dose of Covid-19 vaccinations, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob shared that the authorities will soon be announcing relaxations in SOPs for those who are fully vaccinated.

Based on a report by BERNAMA, he mentioned that they will be announcing the said relaxations this week, after Hari Raya Aidiladha.

“We are also examining which business sectors can be relaxed as well. We are being thorough with this,” he said.

The government will be determining which aspects of the SOPs should be relaxed for fully vaccinated individuals at the National Rehabilitation Council (MPN) Meeting this week.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin added that in regards to this, interstate travel for fully vaccinated individuals is being considered.

“We will resolve this in our meeting this week and then we will announce the flexibility that will be given to those who have already gotten two doses so that they are not tied to such situations for too long,”

“This is because there must be freedom and advantages, especially to go out even if it is not interstate, but inter-district first and then for them to spend at shops,” he shared, according to a report by Astro Awani.
