Sometimes, we cannot deny how underrated our local talents are. If you’re unaware of Sofyank’s work, you should check out some of his outstanding work!
Sofyank, a Malaysian visual effects (VFX) artist recently shared one of his projects on his X account. The 2 minutes 40 seconds clip, a promotional video for ViuTV’s new drama, W Two Worlds sees Sofyank going about his day before being pulled into a portal where he was transported to another dimension, where he communicates with an animated character before they were both, once again, transported to real-life Bukit Bintang, KL.
The clip ended with the other man “vaporing” into thin air, a little bit like how the Avengers turned to dust in Avengers: Endgame.
We don’t want to describe too much because we want you to check out his video below, and see how Malaysians, as always, were amused by Sofyank’s work. One netizen even said his VFX work is beating what we have always seen in Marvel movies!
Sofyank also responded to a comment who suggested he make a movie, by saying he has yet to gain enough experience for that.
“I’m still gaining more experience, and looking for chances in Malaysia to make a movie.”
