It’s that time of year again! Hari Raya Aidilfitri is just two days away, and with everyone already setting out on the road back to their hometowns, PLUS recently took to Facebook for an important announcement.
Touch ‘n Go top up services will not be available at toll plazas on the North-South highway this Hari Raya season from 30th May to 10th June. This is in an attempt to ensure a smooth flow of traffic, according to The Star.
In their Facebook announcement, PLUS advised drivers travelling to their hometowns use Top Up kiosks located at rest stops along the highway.

While drivers heading back to their kampungs won’t be able to top up at PLUS tolls, they can get 20 per cent discounts on tolls at all PLUS-managed highways on the first day of Hari Raya (5th June) from 12am until 11.59pm, applicable for drivers of private vehicles only. According to a statement made on their website, this discount applies to those driving private vehicles on any of the following highways;
- North-South Expressway (NSE)
- New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE)
- Seremban-Port Dickson Expressway (SPDH)
- North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE)
- Malaysia-Singapore Second Link Highway (Linkedua)
- Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE)
- East-Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2)
- Penang Bridge
