Following the polls and an intense race, Republican Donald J Trump has claimed victory in the 2024 presidential contest after Fox News projected that he had defeated Democrat Kamala Harris.
4 years after leaving the White House, Donald J Trump is projected to return as the President of the United States of America, after previously serving as the 45th president of the country from 2017 to 2021, followed by former President Joe Biden who was elected after him.
With this victory, Donald Trump may reclaim the White House for the next 4 years until the next presidential election. In a live update by Reuters, Trump has already won the swing states of North Carolina and Georgia and holds leads in several others, showing a significantly increased strength in 2020.
