A 40-year-old villager, known as Rossly, said he could smell a strange odor when he was cleaning the ditch on Monday but didn’t think anything of it. However, his employer assigned him to mow grass and inspect the same location on Thursday as there had been complaints about the smell.

As Rossly did as he was ordered, he noticed the strong odor was emitting from the patch of grass nearby. Out of curiosity, he took a look and was shocked to find a pile of mites swarming all over a piece of human corpse.

The director of the police force who was immediately called to the scene to inspect the gory sight said that they are in the midst of identifying the deceased, but due to the disfigured state of the body, investigations are still underway.

What authorities can confirm is that the naked body has been in this state for more than five days and no property of identification was found in the surrounding premises.
