Cupcakes are one of the most popular and delicious pastry, but after seeing this, I’m not so sure anymore.
A bakery in California has decided to give the traditional cupcakes a little twist, and turned it into a pimple popping cupcake.

That’s right, you’ll only need to lightly squeeze the cake and the bright yellow lemon custard will ooze out from the red centre, just like how we pop our pimples.

This ingenious creation was made possible by the bakery called Blessed by Baking which is run by Rachael Sanchez. Before this, Rachael has worked over 4 years for a famous dermatologist, Dr Sandra Lee. And these special edition cupcakes were a gift for Sandra.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Dr Sandra Lee, she owns a famous Youtube channel called Dr Pimple Popper.
She practically pops other people’s pimples, cysts, blackheads and records them in a series of videos. Despite being labeled as nasty by some people, these videos actually have millions of views on her Youtube channel. There’s just this really satisfying feeling of watching blackheads being extracted from your skin!

In an interview with Bored Panda, Rachael said:
“The cupcakes were made for a ‘pimple popper potluck’ where we were having at the office. I do not ship as of now but they’re available to purchase locally.”
After Rachael shared the cupcakes on social media, many netizens just couldn’t accept it.
“Nasty but true! This is really a fetish for some people! Thank goodness, I’m not one of them!” a Facebook user said.
“That’s disgusting! Well, I’m not eating today,” another user said.
