With all the malls around Malaysia already having their decorations up, many are starting to feel the Christmas spirit and are getting into the jolly mood.
But, do you know what can make the Christmas season in Malaysia more festive? How about some snow?!
Netizen, Fa Abdul, took to her TikTok page to showcase how it allegedly snowed in Seksyen 14, Petaling Jaya, last night (21 November). Plot twist, it didn’t really snow!
She wrote, “We were having coffee when suddenly we saw ‘snow’ outside the window! We rushed out to take a closer look and were in awe.”
In the video, little white puffs could be seen falling from the sky, but upon a closer look, the puffs appeared to be coming from one of the rooftops.
It turns out that the white puffs were blobs of foam, presumably from someone cleaning the rooftop. Despite the fact that it wasn’t actually snow (which could have also been terrifying considering there’s never snow in Petaling Jaya), the effect the foam created was absolutely whimsical.
“After a good 5 minutes of staring into the night sky, we ran outside to the road and realised they were foamy bubbles. A cleaner must have been scrubbing the rooftop of a building vigorously, causing the foams to fall off like snow.”
“We ended up smiling, knowing that the cleaner may never know what an amazing moment he or she gave us, even though it was only for a few minutes. We truly felt like children tonight, running after the snow!”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Fa Abdul explained that the timing of the incident was perfect!
“Others from Digital Mall across the road started walking out of the building, staring to the sky. Knowing that we were not alone witnessing this, we too got to the street and only then realised it was more like foamy bubbles resembling snow.”
“It was kind of magical because we were just talking about how excited we were to have Christmas around the corner and then to see the ‘snow’!”
