In a much-awaited press conference today by the Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, announced that balik kampung for Hari Raya Haji is still allowed but make sure to follow SOPs set by the government.

One of it is making sure there are no more than 20 people visiting at one time similar to the Hari Raya SOPs implemented two months ago.

If you’re a Person Under Surveillance (PUS), however, you’re not allowed to leave the house for balik kampung or receive visitors. If PDRM catches anyone with the pink wristband, strict action awaits.

Even if you return to your hometown, make sure to follow necessary SOPs like wearing face masks, maintain social distancing and constantly wash your hands.
