Meet your favourite cosplayers, catch J-pop/rock live music acts and many more at Cos-Mic 2024, happening from 14 – 16 September @ Sunway Pyramid Convention Center!
Last year’s edition of Cos-Mic drew a HUGE crowd, with 65,258 Malaysians attending the TACG (toys, anime, cosplay and games) event – so you know we’ll be eating good at Cos-Mic 2024!
This year, it’s back and better than ever with three whole days of excitement! Here’s a rundown of what’s in store at Cos-Mic 2024:
1. Fanboy/girl at your favourite characters (cosplays) IRL
What’s a TACG event without high-effort cosplays? And it looks like Cos-Mic 2024 is keeping their standards high by inviting several femes cosplayers from all across the globe to meet Malaysian fans, on top of their very own Cos-Mic Stars of local cosplayers who’ll be astounding attendees with their scarily-accurate transformations.

2. Of J-rock and talk shows
What’s Cos-Mic 2024 without a couple of hype-worthy music performances and on-stage segments? The maestro who churned out the soul-stirring tracks of hit anime Given, Centimillimental, will be making their return to Malaysia at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre after their last performance at Japan x Malaysia Friendship Concert 2022. They will also be joined by Malaysia’s first all-girl J-Rock band, Hoshi-No-Oka, and KLP48, the Malaysian sister group of AKB48.

That’s not all! Cos-Mic 2024 has also invited several big names in the industry to share their experiences and insights with attendees.
Though we don’t have the full deets yet, a little bird told us that Hina Suguta, the voice actress behind the enchanting Marin Kitagawa from My Dress-Up Darling and bombshell Guinaifen from Honkai: Star Rail, will be making an appearance at Cos-Mic – more details will be unveiled in the coming weeks!
3. Shop your heart out at Artist Alley

If you have a ‘weakness’ for original artworks, figurines, and other collectibles, then Cos-Mic 2024 is the BEST place for you to be at! ? Take a stroll along Artist Alley and browse the abundance of doujins helmed by local and international artists, featuring unique handicrafts, tribute digital paintings and more.

Fancy official merchandise? Malaysia’s licensing home of your favourite animations like Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Peppa Pig, Garfield and Chainsaw Man, Medialink, will be hosting a booth selling official goodies of popular shows. And with over 30 booths up and running at Cos-Mic 2024, you’ll definitely be returning home with bountiful loot one way or another!
4. Exclusive new game releases await!
And finally, for the G in TACG, not only will Malaysians be able to sample various Playstation and VR video games at Cos-Mic 2024, you’ll also get to witness the first Southeast Asian showcase of ColorBANG, a new fast-paced, casual competitive game from NominoX Games that was recently featured in Gamescom 2024.

A pop culture event of Cos-Mic proportions
From anime and cosplays to video games and collectibles, even diehard geeks would faint from the sheer variety on display at Cos-Mic 2024. With so many activities planned for attendees, we’re shook that the three-day ticket bundle for Cos-Mic 2024 only costs RM50!
