This is because Coldplay recently published a note on their website and all the fans are going crazy over it!

Here’s what it said:

“Good afternoon. If you’re coming to any of the upcoming shows in Asia and there’s a Coldplay song you’d like to hear (one which the band don’t usually play), then we’d love you to send us your request video. Yours might get chosen and played!”

Yes, you heard that right guys!

In order to send the request, you will need to record a short video, 15 seconds or less than that, on a plain background telling which Coldplay song you’d like the band to play. Also, remember to mention why you’d like to hear the song you’ve chosen!

But guys, a gentle reminder – please don’t have any music playing in the background as they only want to listen to your request.

“Upload your video to Instagram with the name of your chosen song as a hashtag (ie #Shiver) PLUS the appropriate show hashtag from below (only one show hashtag per post, please). Please tag @Coldplay too. If you’re going to a show in a city which has more than one show, please also tell us which date you’re going to.”

For instance, if you’re going to the Singapore concert on March 31 or April 1, just hashtag #SingaporeRequest .

It’s that simple guys! So get cracking and you might just be the lucky one to get Coldplay perform for you!
