A lady from Shandong, China went to the wet market to purchase some fresh steak at about 8am, then coming home to find it still moving one hour later.
The lady, Ms. Cheng told People’s Daily Online,
“It looks like it is still alive, or that there are worms or something inside. However when I cut it open I didn’t find any worms, just twitching.”
(damn, that meat is REALLY fresh alright!)
Ms. Cheng then did what most people would do today, and whipped out her smartphone to record a video of the pulsating meat.
AIYERRRRR, SUPER GELI RIGHT??
This disturbing video of the Frankenstein meat got up to 11 million clicks in Weibo and still counting.
Lv Suwen, an expert at the local animal health department, said that the spasms were caused by nerve endings that had not died yet.
Ms Lv commented: ‘You can rest assured, this piece of meat is very fresh and is from a freshly slaughtered animal.
‘The central nervous system is dead but the nerve endings in the muscles are still firing resulting in the jumping, because the nerves are not yet dead. This will stop after a short time.’
