She reached out to an officer for help to watch over her son

The video, shared by China Focus, also showed the mom asking an officer for help, explaining that she needed to finish her delivery and hoped they could watch her son for a while.

Before leaving, she told her little boy to sit tight and promised she’d be back soon. After she left, a female officer noticed the child’s clothes were soaked from the rain.

In a touching moment, the officer helped change the boy into dry clothes, while another officer hung his wet ones on a chair in front of a fan to dry.

The officer cradled the boy while he was asleep

Meanwhile, the female officer dressed the boy in clean, dry clothes, and before long, he dozed off on a chair. She later picked him up and gently cradled him in her arms.

When the mom returned, she woke her son and thanked the officer, even apologising for the trouble.
