Tattoos are a much more common thing nowadays than it was a few years ago. People usually get tattoos because it either has a sentimental meaning or because they simply enjoy the artwork. Regardless of the reason, people need to consider thoroughly about the consequences as removing them is no easy task.
That seemed to be understood by Jose L. Torres when he voluntarily got a tattoo about all the mistakes he made as an apology to his wife.
According to Unilad, Jose got the tattoo in order to regain his wife’s trust back as he was caught cheating on her. The tattoo says,
“I, Jose L. Torres am getting a tattoo voluntarily on January 2, 2019 so that I can earn my wife’s trust back for the pain and suffering I have caused in our marriage.
I am a liar, cheater, manipulator, deciever, whore/prostitute lover, dishonest and disrespectul.”
To make matters worse, the words “deceiver” and “disrespectful” were misspelled.
“Just to clarify I didn’t know the tattoo was misspelled until they started talking about it,” said Jose.
If that was not bad enough, news portal MamaMia has also pointed out that the paragraphs seem slanted and it was written in Comic Sans. What a way to take an apology seriously!
Needless to say, the post about Jose’s tattoo went viral all over Instagram and Twitter. A netizen, puzzled by how this would benefit their relationship, commented,
“She will never be able to put what has happened behind them when she has to see this constant reminder.”
What do you guys think? Would you consider this a sweet gesture of repentance? Or will this reminder backfire in the future?
