Just last Saturday on 24 February, Ed Sheeran arrived in Malaysia and played his heart out for local fans, who have waited for about five years, since his last performance in Kuala Lumpur back in 2019. Alongside Sheeran, UK singer-songwriter Calum Scott also arrived in Malaysia, having performed as the opening act for Sheeran’s concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
While down in Malaysia, Scott took the opportunity to sightsee around Kuala Lumpur, sharing a particularly wholesome journey to his TikTok page @calumscottofficial. In the video, Scott displayed how his travels were when climbing Batu Caves.
At the beginning of his clip, Scott showed his surroundings at the base of the temple before slowly making his ascent to the top. Taking in the views and his environment, Scott even took a moment to capture videos the monkeys he came across.
“We made it!” said Scott at the end of the clip, as he reached the top of the stairs – or so it seemed.
After reaching the top, Scott realised that there were more stairs inside the cave temples.
Complimenting the landscape around him, one TikTok user commented under the post, asking Scott how tired he must have been in making the climb. However, the singer replied to the comment saying that it was completely worth it to see the beauty of Batu Caves.
Aside from that, multiple other fans of Scott also wished him a good trip in Malaysia to come, while others told him that there are other beautiful and interesting places to check out as well. In a heart-warming exchange, a few users also thanked Scott for his performance when acting as the opening act for Sheeran’s concert, while another asked him to return again if he has the chance.
“Thank you for giving us such an amazing performance yesterday at Bukit Jalil!” wrote one Malaysian user.
