Last year, Gordon Ramsay’s Bar & Grill opened its doors at the Sunway Resort Hotel, saving many Malaysians the trip to England to try out his handiwork. This time, the UK celebrity chef is bringing his “street pizza” to Malaysia. Gordon Ramsay’s Street Pizza is set to open its doors at Sunway Pyramid by the end of 2023.
It will also be the first outlet in Southeast Asia and according to a Facebook post by Sunway Resort Hotel, the place will be a paradise for those who are looking for sourdough pizzas! Of course, Gordon is unlikely to serve you with only pizzas. Customers can also expect to have a selection of,
- Hot wings
- Fries
- Drinks, including beers and cocktails
To those who have visited the UK, Gordon Ramsay’s Street Pizza may not be something new. It was established in London back in 2018 and the diners are kept at the edge of their seats with the big screens playing sports games at their outlets.
Gordon Ramsay’s Street Pizza is not only available in the UK but also in many other countries such as the United States of America, such as Dubai, Seoul, and Doha. The one in Washington, USA will also be opened later this year.
The launch in Malaysia forms part of the brand’s vision – to have a world with Street Pizza on every corner.
At the time of writing (June 22), no words on the exact date of the opening yet but if you’re planning to have something laid back for Christmas this year, Street Pizza might be the place you want to try out. To date, The Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza is the 2nd Gordon Ramsay restaurant to open in Sunway Resort Hotel (and in Malaysia). The 1st, the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, which opened last year is the network’s 4th after several London locations.
