Tengku Zafrul Tengku Aziz, our Finance minister has taken to parliament to present the 2021 Budget today.
In the live broadcast, he has said that unlimited public transport pass worth RM30 called MY30 will be continued and it will also be expanded to Penang and Kuantan. This initiative will allow public transport users to enjoy unlimited bus and rail services by the Prasarana group for only RM30 a month.
Other than that, they will also be introducing an RM5 public transport pass for students from Standard 1 Till Form 6 and also the OKU community. This pass can be used for KTM services in Klang Valley, KTM in the north, trains between Kuala Lipis and Tumpat and Sabah trains in the Beaufort-Tenom line.
This pass will enable them to travel for only RM5 a month.
