British Influencer Learns & Speaks Malay With Her M’sian Friend, Receives Support from Netizens

In a heartwarming display of cross-cultural connection, we are once again captivated by the enthusiasm of our foreign friends who embrace our native language, Bahasa Malaysia, with passion.

Aisha, a British woman donning a hijab and known as @aisharosalie on TikTok, recently shared a remarkable video showcasing her impressive mastery of the Malay language.

Notably, she engaged in a conversation with her Malaysian friend, Syirin, a voice artist, actor, model and a TV and event host.

For those who don’t know, Aisha Rosalie became renowned for her captivating narrative, starting as an individual with aspirations of pursuing an acting career.

As the video begins, Aisha introduces herself in the most endearing manner, radiating politeness and humility. “My name is Aisha”, she gracefully pronounces, instantly capturing the attention of viewers.

With each sentence, Aisha’s command of the Malay language shines through. “I learn to speak Malay”, she proudly proclaims, revealing her dedication to learning and speaking Malay.

Syirin’s reaction is priceless – her surprise and astonishment mirror the pride felt by Malaysians when witnessing foreigners embrace their native tongue. Aisha’s commitment to learning leaves a lasting impression.

Amidst the conversation, Aisha’s laughter and joyful smile add warmth and authenticity to the interaction. Her genuine delight in connecting with the local community through language is evident, breaking down barriers.

Further showcasing her linguistic skills, Aisha shares her connection to London, confidently stating, “I live in London”, while seeking confirmation from Syirin.

As Aisha confidently converses in Malay, Syrin responds with, “Yes, correct. I live in London”.

But Aisha, with a gleam in her eye, adds a twist to the conversation, expressing her desire to live in Malaysia, saying, “But I want to live in Malaysia”.

 The atmosphere instantly fills with excitement, and Aisha’s joyful expression mirrors the sentiment of her words. Syirin, clearly impressed, can’t help but shower her with compliments saying that was amazing, expressing her astonishment at Aisha’s language skills.
