Coach Tat Meng joined the team in July 2023, and he is expected to serve as the Coaching Director until December 31, 2024 – the date his contract formally ends. Until then, Coach Tat Meng will continue to train the bronze medallist in preparation for the upcoming BWF World Tour Finals, which will take place from December 11 until December 15, 2024, in Hangzhou, China.

Team LZJ also credited Coach Tat Meng for guiding Lee Zii Jia back into the World’s Top 10, which was also contributed by the Bronze Medal that Zii Jia brought home from the Paris Olympics 2024.

As of now, the team has yet to name a successor for Coach Tat Meng but will do so in due time.

“The team is also preparing for the start of the 2025 season with the next Olympic cycle in mind.”

We wish Coach Tat Meng all the best for his future endeavours!
