Albertine Leo, who recently went missing in Johor has been found safe, as confirmed by PDRM in a press conference today (July 23).
Johor’s Chief of Police, Kumar A/L S. Muthuvelu said Albertine was found inside a motel room in Batang Kali, Selangor.
3 suspects were detained yesterday in Johor and the case was immediately classified as a kidnapping.
“The suspects have never made any calls to the family for ransom,” Kumar said.
At the time of writing, the family has been informed of the good news, and Albertine is currently going through a medical checkup at a hospital in Selangor.
In the meantime, PDRM is still investigating the motive behind the kidnapping. They will continue interrogating the suspects who will be remanded for 4 days.
Albertine went missing at Eco Galleria in Johor Bahru on Saturday (July 20) around 7:15 pm, which immediately led to a nationwide search.
