Body of Unidentified Man Found Near River by Private College in Subang Jaya

A man’s body was found by the river near a private college in Subang Jaya last night (31 October).

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) received a report at 7:10 PM from a member of the public who discovered the body near Taylor’s College in Subang Jaya. The deceased was found wearing only a pair of trousers, and based on the condition of the body, police believe he had been dead for some time.

No identification documents were found with the deceased, and a physical examination could not be conducted due to the state of the body.

Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, Subang Jaya District Police Chief, stated today (1 November) that the case has been classified as a Sudden Death Report (SDR). The body has been sent to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM) for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Police are currently awaiting the full autopsy report before deciding on the next course of action.

PDRM has urged members of the public with relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
