Three family members were found dead in a decomposed state at a house on Jalan Bukit Kristal, Seremban, on July 1 (Tuesday).
According to Seremban District Police Chief ACP Mohamad Hatta Che Din, they received information from a member of the public about a foul smell coming from the locked house, as reported by BERNAMA.

The family members included an adult son with autism
According to Sinar Harian, a neighbour said the house was occupied by a married couple and their adult autistic son.
When police arrived to inspect the house, they discovered all three occupants had died.
“Last Friday, he (the son) came over to my house to feed the dogs. After that, I didn’t see him again. I assumed they weren’t home or had gone out. But this evening, the neighbour next door contacted the police after noticing a foul smell coming from the house,” the neighbour shared.

Slash marks were found on the couple’s son
Meanwhile, it was reported that the three family members consisted of a 61-year-old man, his 59-year-old wife, and their 30-year-old son.
“Acting on the information received, police and fire department personnel went to the house and cut the padlock on the gate. Upon inspection, they discovered three decomposed bodies in two of the bedrooms,” said Hatta.
He added that a forensic examination found slash marks on the right arm of the couple’s son, while the parents showed no signs of injury or anything suspicious.
“All three victims are believed to be related, and further investigations are ongoing. The bodies have been sent to the Forensics Department at Rembau Hospital for post-mortem,” he said.
