As the academic year approaches, Bata Malaysia, the nation’s leading footwear retailer, launched its nationwide Back-to-School “Put Your Fresh Foot Forward” campaign. The initiative introduces revolutionary school shoes engineered with dual protection against bacteria and odour, transcending comfort to foster a healthier and more enjoyable learning journey for children.

Running from February 13th to March 10th, 2024, the campaign highlights the back-to-school experience with footwear designed to create a healthier environment for growing feet. Bata Malaysia aims to extend this experience beyond comfort by hosting a Charity Media Lunch in partnership with Dignity for Children, aligning with the celebration of International Women’s Day.

During the Charity Media Lunch held at Eat X Dignity, Bata Malaysia contributed school shoes and supplies, emphasising its commitment to community welfare. The event featured enlightening talks on women’s rights and health by esteemed professionals, aiming not only to support students but also to raise awareness of the importance of antibacterial protection provided by Bata’s Back-to-School shoes.

“We’re excited to reintroduce our enhanced school shoes with dual protection – a potent shield against bacteria with added defense against odours. Our commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment transcends comfort. With advanced technologies like Life Natural and Memory Foam Insole, we ensure every step is a fresh start, offering all-day protection against bacteria. It’s not just about shoes; it’s about empowering students towards a healthier, more comfortable learning journey, from the first bell to the last,” says Rabi Hasnabi, Country Manager of Bata Malaysia.

  • Kills 99% of bacteria and germs: Ensuring long-lasting freshness and protection, reducing the risk of infections and keeping feet healthy.
  • Controls bad odours: Life Natural technology effectively combats odour-causing bacteria, promoting a fresh and comfortable environment within the shoe.

Enhanced Comfort for Growing Feet:
