One of the best things about online shopping is having the items you need delivered right to your doorstep. It’s easy, convenient and definitely not time consuming as you can get it sent anywhere, anytime.

That being said, many people would just purchase things online as it helps speed up the day-to-day life. Just recently, a woman from China has shared her experience after purchasing cotton buds online. In her post she mentioned that she has bought a pack of cotton buds and supposedly it should have 500 pieces in it.

When she received her order, she decided to count it one-by-one and to her surprise she was given 88 pieces less than what she ordered. In a video on Weibo, it could be seen that she has written a number on each cotton bud that she has counted while placing them back in the box it came with.

When she counted it, she realised that there were only 409 pieces of cotton bud left and along with the 3 that she has used prior to counting, it would mean that her total was only 412.

Following that, she contacted the seller and told her that she has counted the pack of cotton buds and was given less than what she ordered. The seller was apologetic and proceeded to refund her $2RMB (RM1.20). The seller messaged her saying that they were sorry for the mishap and the $2RMB refund (RM1.20) is a small token of apology for the 88 pieces that were missing.

It’s always a great idea to check what you’ve bought online to ensure you’re getting the things you’ve ordered. Would you have counted the pack of 500 cotton buds? Let us know in the comments below.
