An outstanding 28% of students earned the distinction of ranking in the top 10% globally with an ATAR of 90 or above. 49% of AUSMAT graduates achieved an ATAR of 80 or higher, placing them in the top 20% worldwide, while 67% secured positions in the top 30% globally with ATAR scores of 70 and above.

Tan Xue Rhu, a student who sustained a hand injury and faced mobility challenges during the WACE examination, achieved a remarkable ATAR of 99.4.
“The injury affected me both mentally and physically, and at one point, I could not leave my house due to my disability and scars. With support from friends and family, I accepted the experience and refused to let it halt my AUSMAT journey. I focused on learning rather than the outcome, and despite the challenges, everyone helped me overcome my fears and doubts,” she shares.
Tan also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her AUSMAT lecturers for their unwavering support and encouragement during her recovery. Sunway College, recognised as a Campus with a Conscience, goes above and beyond to support the well-being and success of its students.
Khoo Li Heng, with an impressive ATAR score of 99.65, secured a position in the top 0.35% globally. “The AUSMAT academic structure fosters time management, stress resilience, and the ability to accept results when we have given our best. I would like to thank my family, friends, and lecturers for their continuous support throughout the AUSMAT programme,” says Khoo.
Ng Le Anne scored an ATAR of 98.8 and clinched the prestigious SCSA Special Subject Certificate of Excellence for English as an Additional Language or Dialect, landing her the top achiever worldwide in this subject.

The Sunway College AUSMAT programme has proudly produced 2,383 students who have achieved an ATAR of 70 or higher since 2020.
