A mall in Kuala Lumpur has announced that its compound had been exposed to Covid-19 after a visitor was tested positive for Covid-19, reported Oriental Daily.
The Ampang-based mall took to their Facebook page yesterday (10th March) to post a public announcement. The post has since gained about 1,300 shares at the time of writing.
In their post, it was stated that the Covid-19 positive customer had visited a saloon that was located within the mall on 2nd March. The saloon known as A-Saloon had informed the management upon the discovery of this information.
The management had proceeded to carry out deep cleaning and rigorous sanitisation of the tenant’s premises. The surrounding areas were also be subjected to cleaning protocols in accordance with the guidelines from health authorities while the affiliated saloon will be temporarily closed until further notice.
The management further expressed their readiness and willingness to adopt additional precautionary measures if needed by the authorities. Common areas such as lifts and toilets are also subjected to disinfecting measures to eliminate any threats.
