The Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) has been actively shutting down illegal stalls and businesses run by foreigners in the city centre.
The MYNEWSHUB X page recently showcased a video of 2 people, believed to be foreigners, attempting to fight DBKL officers as the officers seized their stall for not having a valid business license.

MYNEWSHUB wrote, “Vendors at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur, acted aggressively and challenged DBKL officers to a fight after being stopped from (running their business) at the sidewalk,”
“It is understood that the individuals did not have a license and were foreigners, causing the authorities to seize their goods.”
“DBKL is firmly addressing the issue of unlicensed traders during Ramadan, despite facing challenges which include a previous incident where a DBKL officer was injured after being bitten by a trader. So far, no official statement has been issued regarding this latest incident.”

In the video showcased, the 2 men could be seen aggressively getting up in the officers’ faces, causing others to have to hold them back and pull them away while the officers seized their stall.
While being restrained, the vendors also pointed at the officers and shouted at them.
