In recent updates, Aliff Syukri was seen teasing Malaysians with a sneak peek of his new Aidilfitri song music video, featuring him in a jacuzzi. However, he later deleted the video after facing backlash, at the request of his own mother.
@aliffsyukriterlajaklaris took to his Instagram to officially announce that he wouldn’t be releasing any Raya songs this year. In the video, he admitted that it was never in the works to begin with.
“To all of you watching, happy April Fools’ Day!”
Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri clarified that the video featuring him in the jacuzzi was simply a prank intended for his online followers.
“I never had any plans to release a Raya song this year. It was all just a prank for all of you.”

The entrepreneur concluded the video by extending his wishes for a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to everyone.
Online users quickly filled the comment section, expressing their thoughts on Datuk’s prank.
“Come on, Datuk, where’s the Raya song? It just doesn’t feel like Raya without your song!”
“Who knew Datuk is an entertainer.”
However, there were some netizens online who didn’t find the situation as funny as others did.
